| Bio: | I was born in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, while my parents were on a trip there to visit my grandparents. Twin sister Karen and I flew across the country back to St. John's, Newfoundland, when we were two months old. Lived there until we were eight when the powers that be split and Mum moved us back to Kelowna. We still see Dad each summer and holiday that we can, he has remarried a wonderful woman named Maryann and they have a little daughter, Zoe, upon whom I dote. Much of my childhood was spent racing around St. John's and Kelowna alternately, getting into trouble and having adventures and as twins Karen and I were nearly inseparable. I lost my innocence at age 14 and from then on tended to view the world through a significantly more pragmatic lense. When I was 15 I met a wonderful person named Cameron in my maths class. He was the first person to respect me for who I truly am and not to try to change/question/judge me in any way. I believe he helped pull me out of the literal gutter I was heading towards and helped me to be the person I am today. We stayed together throughout high school and were married on July 14, 2007. On September 2, 2007, our girls Michelle and Megan were born. I'm now at UBC working my way towards a major in psychology while simultaneously raising my girls.
